What is a Piroshki?
Piroshkies (also known as pirozhki or piroshky) are one of the most popular foods you can find on the streets of Russia and pretty much most of Eastern Europe.
They are kind of like turnovers or hot pockets with a variety of savory fillings although the dough is more bun like.
Some piroshkies are fried or use a french dough (American style) however we bake ours the way the Eastern Europeans traditionally do.
They can be eaten like a sandwich or, if you wanna get a little fancy, with a knife and fork. Our bite-sized piroshkies in our catering section are perfect as finger food at any event.
In addition to traditional flavors we also have the world’s only vegan piroshkies and we invented the Pinoyshki (Filipino Piroshki).
We pride ourselves on the freshness of every individual item in our store.
In fact, if you visit our store from morning until a little after lunch hour, you can watch our bakers roll, shape, and bake piroshkies like there's no tomorrow!
Baked to perfection
While there are similarities our piroshkies are unlikely to be like any piroshki you have had before. The dough is soft, pillowy, buttery with a touch of sweetness that perfectly complements the saltiness of the savory fillings it encases.
After baking and cooling down our piroshkies, we keep them in a cool case to keep them fresh until they are ordered and warm them up again. Heat lamps may keep them warm but those tend to dry out the bread throughout the day and lowers the overall quality of the product.
Natural and Local
Our baked goods are cooked with natural ingredients we get from the local vendors in Seattle. We like to keep it green and don't use artificial preservatives or MSG.

Had turkey with cheese and an Americano. So delicious and want to try the soups like Borscht and all the other types of Piroshki in the future.
Very cozy food served by real Russians.

So good! I had one for breakfast while I was in the area for Jury Duty and it was so good I had to go back and get 2 more to take home and "share" with family. I think my favorite one was the spinach, egg & cheese. And the people are wonderful!

The secret of this place is the incredible traditional food they prepare, along with the piroshkis they sell. Wonderful cabbage rolls! And poppy seed filled pastries. These items are hard to find anymore. Support these cooks!
I just love this place, management is kind and fair, the food is to die for and the atmosphere is like a coffee shop (they also sell coffee). I've tried piroshkis from other restaurants but none have as much love cooked into them as this place.

Classically delicious. This bread is so soft and fluffy I want to dance inside it as it is dancing on my tastebuds. really though this is bomb. Broccoli cheese is where it's at. Fresh, hot and very tasty. So different from the one at the market. The bread is full and soft not flat and flaky... I love both but this is just as delicious!!
